Dr. Kenneth W. Rabe, D.O.

Dr. Kenneth W. Rabe received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and went on to complete a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Wayne State University. Dr. Rabe is double board-certified in PM&R and Pain Medicine. Following his residency in Michigan, Dr. Rabe was offered and accepted an invitation to join a select team of physicians developing guidelines for the treatment of solid organ and bone marrow transplant patients. Dr. Rabe has been practicing pain medicine for several years prior to joining Desert Sky Spine and Sports Medicine. He has a strong belief in a multi-disciplinary approach, utilizing all possible treatment options for patients with acute and chronic pain. Dr. Rabe understands that no two patients are alike, even if their cases are similar. Good patient care incorporates all aspects of a patient’s needs. As the son of a chiropractor, Dr. Rabe, early in life became familiar with the hardships suffered by people with painful spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. He understands how pain affects the quality of life of not only the patient, but how pain reaches out and alters the lives of his patients’ loved ones.
